Project 1: Sustainable Architecture (Creative Essay)
The first project of the semester was to come up with a creative essay
We had to research on a topic regarding Sustainable Architecture. It could be either historical, present or prospective. In my opinion the topic is quite interesting and fun to work on. We gathered our research and as a group put the pieces together to work on the essay. The outcome was well constructed informative yet visual essay which can be viewed below.
Project 2: Daylighting
The project aim was for students to be able to identify passive design strategies for daylighting, as well as architectural concepts on how ambiance is created and different sustainability features of such lighting systems.

The ability to analyze the effect of comfort factors and in space relating to lighting was also tested.

The requirements were two A3 presentation board which consisted of relevant information on a place of our choosing, 3d models of the place and more visual representation of the information gathered. The use of tables, charts and diagrams was what gave life to the boards.
Overall it was an informative project but had many challenges. In the end we managed to pull through and came up with this
